The JVC VR-N1600 Network Video Recorder (16 Channels) is a high-performance all-in-one system with easy-to-operate surveillance features. With the ability to upgrade the HDD up to 5 TB, the NVR can store large amount of data and also supports RAID function for secured data backup. With live viewing, recording, and playback capabilities, the unit is suitable for large-scale surveillance system.

Use of the NVR as a master on the network allows configuration of multiple NVRs as a single Master/Slave system without using PC and additional software/camera license. The pre-installed Milestone XProtect Enterprise software offers advanced search features such as sequence search, smart search, time navigation, and timeline browser.

The NVR allows up to 10 clients to access simultaneously at combined 30 ips, and VCR-like front panel design provides easy operation to various functions. Along with the VN-E4 Network Encoder, analog cameras can be integrated into the system. The NVR is an open platform system, which supports external systems such as access control systems, POS, and ATMs.

System Status Monitoring by SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) allows you to check the camera connection status, CPU occupation, recording status, NVR viewers, and more. The dual network ports for the camera and the client network ensures stable performance. The unit also includes features such as PTZ camera control, improved usability, and data export functions.

High-capacity Recording Capability

You can store up to 5 TB of data and can also record data on NAS (Network-attached Storage). The archive function allows you to efficiently use the disk space; you can transfer and store video data recorded on the database to the allocated space of the HDD. You can effortlessly playback recorded data without stopping the network system. It supports RAID1 for secured data backup and mirroring by upgrading the internal HDD.

Image Capture and Quality

Supports motion JPEG and MPEG-4 formats at a frame-rate of up to 160 fps for recording and up to 80 fps for viewing and up to 80 ips for distribution at VGA. The 2-channel audio interface allows recording, distribution, and export of audio source.

VCR-like front panel controls with jog/shuttle provides easy access to various functions such as forward, reverse, playback, single-step forward/reverse, key lock/unlock, zoom-in, zoom-out, image search, etc.

Easy Set-up

User-friendly set-up menu enables easy settings including the automatic camera detection and IP address assignment. Supports Multi-lingual menu (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish) for easy accessibility.

Advanced Data Export Functions

The recorded data can be transferred in AVI or JPEG format with advanced encryption using the original formats. For added security, the NVR has password protection feature to prevent tampering. Additionally, it provides data export capability for USB memory and external CD-R drive (optional).

Time Navigation

Supports simultaneous control of all cameras and also offers playback or fast-forward/rewind of recorded images for specific time and date.

Timeline Browser

For easy viewing of existence or non-existence recordings for all cameras and motion detection, the NVR displays archives in different colors. Drag the timeline directly to fast-forward or rewind images of all cameras simultaneously.

Open Architecture for Easy Integration

Allows easy integration of external systems such as access control systems, POS, and ATMs. Apart from JVC IP cameras, it allows the unit to support dedicated third-party cameras.

DDNS Support
