LampSave Mode

Projector lamp replacement costs make up the biggest part of the total cost of projector ownership. The LampSave Mode is designed to adjust the lamp power dynamically by content brightness level to extend projector lamp life significantly by 50%! The lamp replacement frequency is also reduced by up to 50% to lower the replacement costs.

LumenCare Mode

The LumenCare Mode, which adjusts projector lamp power in gain steps until full power is reached, effectively maximizes power saving and reduces brightness decay. It's the first and only projection feature on the market that ensures three years of consistent image brightness for optimal learning and teaching.

Eco Blank Mode

The Eco Blank mode allows teachers to blank the projection screen whenever they need to direct their students focus back on them or simply when the projector is not in use. When activated, this special feature dims the lamp power automatically, lowering the total power consumption by 70%.

TheBenQ MW824ST WXGA Short Throw 3D DLP Projectorprovides 3200 ANSI lumens of brightness and a 13,000:1 contrast ratio for clear, bright presentations - even in rooms with high ambient light. It features a WXGA 1280 x 800 native resolution, a 3D DLP chip system and a LampSave Mode that supports a long lamp life up to 10,000 hours. The MW824ST is equipped with SmartEco Technology as well, which combines optimum levels of brightness and picture quality for maximum energy savings and a lower overall cost of ownership.

The projector provides a No Source Detected Mode, which will automatically lower the projector lamp brightness to 30% after it has remained unconnected for three minutes. Other features include a built-in 10W mono speaker, flexible connectivity options including HDMI, MHL mobile device mirroring, and an Eco Blank Mode that allows teachers to blank the projection screen when it is not in use. The MW824ST supports ecoFACTS environmentally friendly packaging as well.

3D Support & Compatibility: The MW824ST supports multiple 3D formats including the frame sequential format up to 720p resolution, the frame packing format up to 1080p resolution, the side-by-side format up to 1080i/p resolution, and the top-bottom format up to 1080p resolution.
