The newly released Nanlite Alien 150C is the brightest LED panel light that Nanlite has ever produced. It is inspired by key elements from the Nanlite PavoSlim series, so it's guaranteed to be another crowd favorite for lighting equipment.
he Alien 150C RGB LED Light Panel from Nanlite is a multifaceted LED panel that checks every box for complete lighting control and high brightness. Designed to be efficiently assembled with a quick release softbox, the Alien 150C is a compact 15.4 x 14.5" RGBWW fixture that offers a bright throw of illumination and extended CCT range of up to 12,000K while running on AC power, using an optional V-mount battery, or external 24V power sources. Its versatility doesn't stop there, as the panel's control options cover the most varied methods, including onboard or app control, 2.4 GHz wireless, DMX/RDM, and CRMX LumenRadio. In addition to the softbox that allows setup and breakdown with speed and ease, Nanlite includes a grid and two diffusers for better control. The Alien 150C's body is IP55 rated for protection against dust and water, while its conveniently separate control unit can be protected with a rain cover carefully included in the box. A padded carry case allows you to store and travel with the LED panel and all its included accessories.
Designed to seamlessly integrate into any ambient light situation, the Alien 150C is a tunable RGBWW panel for colorful, creative effects. It has an expansive CCT range of 2700 to 12,000K and high CRI/TLCI ratings of 96/97 as indicators of accuracy in color rendering. It's also possible to alter the +/- 150 green/magenta balance for greater precision, as well as adjust light intensity from 0 to 100% in fine 0.1% increments.
One of the Alien 150C's advanced functions is a full RGB mode, giving you access to thousands of color combinations for optimal choice. The fixture also offers 151 gels and other features, such as HSI mode and XY coordinates. When using the panel at 5600K, the Alien 150C outputs 13,050 lux at 3.3'.
The 15 built-in effects can easily be customized and saved as presets in the NANLINK app. The effects include HUE loop, CCT loop, INT loop, flash, pulse, storm, police car, TV, paparazzi, candle/fire, disco, bad bulb, fireworks, explosion, and welding.
Adjust settings using the onboard controls with a 3.2" screen or the NANLINK mobile app for iOS and Android. The app provides color matching, XY color space setting functions, and more. Going further, 2.4 GHz provides control through the separately available WS-TB-1 transmitter box for more elaborate setups, or with the optional WS-RC-C2 handheld remote. DMX/RDM control and CRMX LumenRadio are also supported for advanced users.
The Alien 150C can run off either on AC power or using an optional V-mount battery, so it can be operated in any location in the world regardless of power availability.

Compact and efficient panel light
The Nanlite Alien 150C’s compact size makes it ideal for smaller shoots and tight spaces where maneuverability is key. It’s the smaller one of the two, but it has a 1212-foot candle with 13050 lux.

Cell Versatility
Alien 150C has a single V-Mount battery plate and runs at 100% brightness with either a 14.4-14.8V or a 26-28V V-Mount battery. With a 26V 270Wh battery, Alien 150C runs for 1hr 10mins at 100% brightness.
Alien Technology
Pressing a knob lets you hyperspace to common CCTs: 2700K, 3200K, 4300K, 5600K, etc., pressing another dims to 0%, pressing again brings you back. It has Max and Constant output modes, fan-off and smart-fan modes, and more. A USB port provides a link to the mothership for future updates, and can power DMX receivers (sold separately).
