Features

The Plus TAXAN PH-1001X DLP Projector combines benchmark imaging features with superior illumination and control features that make this compact lightweight projector an asset in the boardroom, classroom or in home theater applications.    

 

The magic starts with Texas Instruments' BrilliantColor, a 6 segment color wheel which enhances the visual spectrum. Different presentation venues and material demand unique treatment and to that end Plus employs Variable Illumination to optimize display characteristics. Even when a screen isn't available, the PH-1001X offers superior performance on difficult surfaces such as blackboards or colored walls.

These features would be squandered however, without the power to back them up. The PH-1001X has it, boasting a brilliant 4200 ANSI lumens brightness spec with a crisp contrast ratio of 2300:1, all rendered in fine detail thanks to its impressive XGA resolution of 1024 x 768. The unit's extensive connectivity includes HDMI, DVI and PC inputs. The audio output offers variable volume control of external speakers via the projector's volume control.  

Finally, network control enables remote functionality of audio and video functions. Users and institutions can even monitor performance and receive email notification related to bulb burnout and other status situations.

BrilliantColor
The PH-1001X uses a six-segment color wheel and takes full advantage of BrilliantColor technology from Texas Instruments. This broader color range enables far more realistic color reproduction, especially in the yellow and light blue hues.
Variable Illumination
The projector offers a wide choice of software-based color modes which the illumination on different segments of the color wheel. Users can choose from Standard Mode, Graphics Mode, Presentation Mode or Movie Mode to optimize color balance to suit their projecting needs. For example, in Presentation Mode, brightness is enhanced by emphasizing RGB segments, while in Graphics Mode the Y and C segments are highlighted to emphasize color reproduction.
Networked Control
The PH-1001X has both networking and remote control features. The RJ45 jack and wired LAN functionality make it possible to perform a variety of operations indirectly, including power on/off, brightness adjustment, contrast adjustment, video-source and sound-mute.
Automatic Adjustment
Automatically adjusts the phase, clock speed, and resolution of the RGB signal from the PC.
Multiple Interfaces for Extensive Connectivity
Inputs include DVI-I, mini D-sub 15-pin, HDMI, component, S-Video, composite. Output include Mini D-sub 15-pin, DC 12 V (screen trigger function) and variable Audio output.
Direct Power On/Off
Turn the projector power on and off from the main power switch. If the projector is suspended from the ceiling, it can be powered on and off by using the associated circuit breaker switch, rather than using a remote control.
Screen Trigger for Motorized Screens
The screen trigger (DC12V) enables automatic raising and lowering of a motorized screen when the projector is powered on and off. This is ideal for venues with large motorized screens such as conference rooms.
Advanced Features Utilizing Wired LAN (RJ45)
Automatically receive projector status reports by e-mail on conditions such lamp burnout and maintenance scheduling. Additionally, the projector can be controlled and its operating status monitored remotely using a standard web browser running on a personal computer linked to a LAN to which the projector is also connected. It is also possible to manage multiple projectors connected to a single network. This functionality enables centralized control vial a network or using a control panel.
Easy Lamp Replacement
Lamp replacement is easy even in ceiling mounted installations since the lamp can be accessed from the top of the projector.
