The Quasar Science Q50WRGBX (4') LED Tubes with Wheeled Travel Case (3-light kit) is a professional lighting solution for film and video production, featuring powerful RGBX linear LED lamps with versatile control options and a protective, portable case.

Key Features

  • Color Control: The lights offer a full 360° RGB palette for vibrant, saturated colors, which can be blended with the independent 2000K (candlelight) to 6000K (daylight) diodes to create high-quality pastels and a balanced variable white light spectrum (CRI 95+, TLCI 95+).
  • Connectivity and Control: Each lamp includes a built-in Lumen Radio CRMX wireless transceiver for remote operation via compatible transmitters. Wired control is also available via DMX I/O ports (Cat5/6) for chaining multiple lamps together. An onboard digital interface with an OLED screen allows for local control of intensity, CCT, saturation, hue, and effects.
  • Onboard Effects (FX): The lights come with various pre-programmed effects with adjustable parameters, including Fire, Police Light, Short Circuit, Paparazzi, Strobe, and Rainbow Color Scroll.
  • Power Options: The lamps are self-ballasted for universal 100-265 VAC input via a Neutrik True1 locking connector, eliminating the need for external ballasts. They also support 10-26 VDC input via a locking barrel connector for battery operation (batteries sold separately).
  • Design and Scalability: The slender, low-profile design allows them to be tucked into tight spaces. They can be aligned end-to-end to create longer light sources or grouped to form larger LED panels. They feature passive cooling for silent, fanless operation, ideal for audio-sensitive sets.

Quasar Science Q50WRGBX (4') LED Tubes Features

The primary features of the individual LED tubes include:

X-fade White Light: The lights feature independent tungsten (2000K) and daylight (6000K) diodes, allowing for a balanced, variable color spectrum without the "muddy" effect of mixing RGB for white light.

Full RGB Color Palette: A full 360° color palette is available, allowing for vibrant, saturated colors or soft pastels when mixed with the white light feature. Color presets for blue, cyan, green, yellow, orange, red, magenta, and purple are included.

Onboard Control Panel & Effects (FX): An integrated control panel on each lamp allows for manual adjustment of intensity, CCT, saturation, hue, and built-in effects, including Fire, Police Light, Short Circuit, Paparazzi, Strobe, and Rainbow Color Scroll.

Wired & Wireless Control: The tubes come standard with Lumen Radio CRMX wireless transceivers for remote control, and also feature DMX input/output ports for wired control via Cat5/6 cables, allowing multiple lamps to be chained together.

Self-Ballasted AC/DC Power: The lamps are self-ballasted and can run on universal AC power (100-265VAC) via a Neutrik True1 locking connector, or DC power (10-26VDC) via a locking barrel connector for battery operation.

Scalable Design: The low-profile, linear shape allows the lights to be easily hidden or aligned end-to-end to create larger panels or long linear light sources.

Lead/Follow Mode: One lamp can be set as a "master" to control all other connected or linked "follow" lamps simultaneously.

Wheeled Travel Case Features

The included wheeled case is a heavy-duty, protective solution designed for transport and storage of the three-light kit.

Durable Construction: The case is typically made of ultra high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, designed to resist corrosion and impact damage.

Protection: It is gasket-sealed, making it water and dust tight, and potentially submersible. The interior features high-density, water jet cut foam with specific compartments for each of the three tubes and their accessories, protecting them during travel.

Portability: The case includes wheels and a snap-down rubber over-molded cushion grip handle, making it easy to transport, even as checked air travel luggage (though a padlock is available separately).

Organization: The customized foam interior makes inventory management easy, as every item has a designated spot.
