SCAM **Do not attempt to buy** Item is being sold by a third party At the transaction, the estimated arrival date was November 19th. On that date i received a somewhat very light box. I instantly started being suspicious and started filming as i opened the box. The label on the box is indicating that the box contain the camera kit for a total of 4.5 kg with the signature of a warehouse employee attesting that the box countain the Nikon D7200 kit. The box weight less than a pound and was only countaining a CHEAP no brand black backpack ...... I instantly called the third party seller BUY DIRECT & SAVE The agent who answered told me that: - The black backpack is a promotional gift ?! - The camera is still in Japan and should arrive in 3-4 weeks ?? - That if i want to give my credit card, for a minimal fee they could upgrade my camera for D7500 and ship it today... SERIOUSLY WALMART ?!?!? Why are you still doing buisness with them !!! After reading the review about BUY DIRECT & SAVE i realised that i was being scammed and contact Walmart directly. They said they would get in contact with third party seller to get more explanations but instantly issued a refund for the transaction SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! EDIT TO ADD: the reply by the third seller is a lie. The transaction as been canceled and refund as stated above without answer from the third seller!

I placed an order over a week ago and paid over $2,500 for a Sony camera. Since then, the order status has remained at “Order Confirmed” with no update or shipping information. I’ve called multiple times during business hours, but no one ever answers the phone. I initially tried reaching out just to get a $100 refund they owed me—but now I’m also concerned that my order hasn’t even shipped. At this point, I have no idea what’s going on. If you’re expecting prompt service or clear communication, I strongly suggest shopping elsewhere. This business does not seem to value its customers’ time or money. Yes I’ve called this number many times for past 4 days. No one ever answer. The first day before placing the order, I call and spoke to someone somehow they answered named Rob and he helped me put the order together and he did tell me you just get regular shipping. It will be shipped on speed time, since it’s new items. No, I hope I’m not getting no international item, if that’s the case cancel it ASAP since I cannot get in touch with you anyways. The same camera was on sale when I placed the order through Sony $500 off I should’ve got that. stupid me

I ordered a Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN OS Sports Lens (Sony E mount) from BuyDirectNY during their Father’s Day sale for about $1,095 (including tax and shipping). The product listing had detailed specs, stock images, and the normal product name and number — nowhere did it indicate the lens was used, refurbished, or open-box. It appeared to be a brand-new product listing, which I have screenshots of for proof. When the shipment arrived, I received a completely different lens — a used Sony 70-200mm f/4 G lens, not the Sigma I ordered. When I called BuyDirectNY, the representative was extremely rude. He tried to convince me to keep the incorrect lens or use it temporarily, even though I told him clearly I wanted what I ordered. He refused to give me clear information on the refund process (such as how many business days it would take to get my money back) and instead kept pushing for an exchange, but then admitted they had no stock of the Sigma lens I had purchased. During the call, he also revealed that the Sigma lens I ordered was actually used — despite their website not mentioning this anywhere. When I pointed out the missing disclosure, he responded: “Well, it didn’t say new either.” That’s completely unacceptable and shows a lack of integrity, especially since New York law requires sellers to clearly state when items are used or refurbished. He then argued that “no one would sell a new lens for $1,000,” but their own site was literally listing it at that price. Thankfully, I documented everything, filed a claim with my bank and returned the incorrect lens they sent me. I do not recommend BuyDirectNY. Their deceptive listings, refusal to take responsibility, and poor customer service make this retailer untrustworthy. Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere.

I had an absolutely terrible experience with BuyDirectNY. I placed an order and never received what I actually paid for. Not only did they send the wrong item, but when I tried to get help, they completely ignored my emails and never responded. Even worse, they claimed they shipped the correct product, as if I was lying, instead of trying to fix their mistake. This is shady and unprofessional behavior. It feels like a scam—they take your money, ignore customer service requests, and hope you give up. I would never recommend this site to anyone. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere reputable. This business should not be trusted.

I ordered an Epson projector from these people. Due to the high value on it (almost $26,000) they requested that I pay by ACH instead of credit card. I paid them and they received the funds on April 29, 2024. I was told it would be about two weeks before I received the item. After months of excuses, a tracking number that only showed "label created" for weeks and weeks, many emails and phone calls of getting the runaround I FINALLY received a package from them on July 31, 2024. The package was very beat up. The projector they sent me had obviously been opened and returned before and it wasn't even the correct model number!! I insisted that they take it back and give me a FULL REFUND. They did take it back but I'm still trying to get my money back. They don't respond to emails and on the rare occasion that I can get someone on the phone I'm told to just use email and it will get handled. I feel like I'm being scammed out of my money. I wouldn't recommend anyone to do business with these people. I've been treated absolutely AWFUL from the get go. My next stop to complain is the BBB. I also plan to leave reviews like this one all over the web...anyplace I can find. Update 11/14/2024 - I'm writing in response to the "Owner's Response" that took two months to show up here. I have made it perfectly clear on several occasions beginning back on August 8th this year that I want a REFUND rather than a replacement. I stated that in THIS review above and yet I am still waiting. I would also point out that the UPS tracking number given in the owner's response was for a replacement they insisted on sending even though I emailed IMMEDIATELY after I received an email notifying me of the pending shipment. I informed them that I would REJECT the shipment on arrival and they should NOT send. The owner's response neglects to mention the first tracking number that I was given back June 6th that indicated "LABEL CREATED" for WEEKS which tells me it was a ploy to placate me as no package was delivered until July 30th. That package was in horrible condition, was the wrong model number and had obviously been previously returned to them. I going to put it in writing here ONE MORE TIME. I WANT A FULL REFUND, NOT A REPLACEMENT, A FULL REFUND. Otherwise I will see you in court. Additionally I have been advised to report this case to the Federal Trade Commission for online fraud at www.reportfraud.ftc.gov and the FBI's Internet Crime Site at www.ic3.gov Unless A FULL REFUND is processed within the next few days I will follow up on that advice. Update May 16th, 2025 - To date this issue has still not been resolved. These guys completely ignored demand letters sent by my attorney. They did make an offer prior to that that I found to be unacceptable because, rather than a refund, they offered only a partial refund and wanted me to wait several months to get it. If I had accepted their "partial refund" they would have still made money on a deal that they bungled from the very beginning. And I want to clarify that they were HORRIBLE at "keeping me informed via phone calls and emails" like they claim. Attempts to contact them were always difficult and the responses I did get were totally unacceptable. Apparently their idea of "customer service" is to duck and dodge all responsibility and then completely ignore me except for the lame response made to my review. I'm still out $25,801.36 from these scam artists. I wouldn't advise my worst enemy to buy anything from them.

First time going to the shop. i have a Z50 and was looking for an additional prime lens. It's a small warehouse but they have many items in the store. The one thing that I loved about this camera store is the personal knowledgeable service. Great deals as well. Ended up purchasing a 35mm f/1.8 Nikkor.

Such a great good company I ordered a Nikon lens, it is very good . All the package is original. I am so happy with that. The customer service are so good. I will definitely order in future again.
