The Panasonic PT-DZ8700U is a professional WUXGA DLP projector built for fixed installations and public display venues, from independent cinema and live events to education, entertainment, and command-and-control environments. Its 3-chip DLP engine pairs a Digital Micromirror Device with each red, green, and blue signal, delivering 10,600 ANSI lumens of brightness, a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, and 1920 x 1200 resolution with minimal image degradation.

A dual 355W lamp system with Lamp Relay Mode cycles each lamp on and off to support 24/7 operation, while Detail Clarity Processor 3 restores subtle details lost to source compression. The projector ships without a lens and accepts six zoom lenses and one fixed lens, accommodating screen sizes from 70 to 600 inches diagonal, and connects via HDMI, DVI-D, RS-232c, and HD/SD-SDI.
