    Panasonic'sHDC-MDH1 AVCHD PAL Camcorderis a shoulder-mount HD camera with a pro-style form factor that gives you added comfort and stability during long handheld shoots. Capable of capturing full HD 1920 x 1080 or down converted standard-definition 576i video, the camera provides the versatility and convenience necessary for getting your shots the way you want them. A tiltable viewfinder and touchscreen LCD screen help you compose with ease, while the 16.8x optical/23x Intelligent zoom lens gets you as close to the action as you're likely to need. At the same time, a built-in zoom microphone follows the lens' lead, making sure that what you see is also what you hear.

    Whether shooting weddings, events, or even a low-budget indie, the HDC-MDH1's full manual control over shutter speed, aperture, white balance, and focus--not to mention its large front focus ring--allow you to bring professional polish and finesse to all your videography.

    Shoulder-Type Design
    The HDC-MDH-1 offers the stability of shoulder-mount shooting, packed into a high-mobility compact package. Comes complete with large grip and zoom lever, plus a wide-diameter focus ring for smooth, positive operation.
    External Stereo Microphone Included
    Connecting the external microphone lets you record high-quality sound while you shoot.
    Sub Record Button & Sub Zoom Lever
    REC start/stop button and zoom lever are mounted on the top of the handgrip. This is particularly helpful for smooth operation when shooting from low angles.
    Manual Focus Ring
    The large, easy-to-hold focus ring gives you quick, precise focus control. It lets you take both subtle, delicate shots and bold, expressive ones.
    Large Eyecup
    By contacting the camera at three points--the large eyecup, the grip belt, and the shoulder pad--you gain outstanding stability compared to a conventional "handy type" camera.
    Tiltable Viewfinder
    The viewfinder tilts up and down--a real convenience when making high-angle and low-angle shots.
    Long Life Battery Included
    For long events, this battery lasts up to 5 hours and lets you concentrate on shooting--without worrying about battery reserves.
    AC Adapter/Battery Charger
    The AC adapter doubles as a battery charger.
    Built-in Zoom Microphone
    In proportion to the zoom setting of the lens, the two ECMs (electret condenser microphones) adjust automatically to bring sound and images together for exceptional atmosphere.
    Full-HD 1920 x 1080 Recording
    The MDH-1 lets you shoot with Full-HD picture quality. You can capture the fine details of important events in high-definition and then enjoy the beautiful results on a large HDTV screen.
    HD/Standard Recording in AVCHD Format
    Standard image quality can also be recorded by the camera. Therefore, you can choose the optimum format for different playback and editing situations. And since this standard image format is resized from Full-HD, picture quality is more attractive and detailed than in conventional DV recordings.
    Intelligent 23x Zoom
    Intelligent Zoom, which was achieved due to the Intelligent Resolution technology of the MDH-1's image processing LSI "Crystal Engine PRO," enables telephoto shots at up to 23x magnification. Even when the optical zoom range is exceeded, telephoto shots maintain their clear, beautiful HD image quality.
    Touch Screen 2.7" LCD Monitor
    Control settings are made by simply touching the LCD screen. Operation is intuitive and easy, and the large letters are easy to read. Shooting and viewing are simple and stress-free--even for beginners.
    35.8mm Wide-Angle
    The 35.8mm wide-angle setting on the MDH-1 fits more people and more of the background into the frame than a conventional 42mm lens. This is especially handy when you want to take a group photo in a small room. For even wider angle 25mm results, add the optional VW-4607H Wide Conversion Lens.
    iA (Intelligent Auto)
    This powerful function senses the shooting conditions and automatically makes the settings and activates functions that will deliver optimal results.
    HYBRID O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer)
    This hybrid system combines the advantages of optical stabilization and electronic stabilization in one. It helps capture beautiful images under all conditions by detecting and compensating for instability caused by a variety of movements. In addition to optical stabilization, it provides more powerful electronic correction during high-power zooming.
    O.I.S. Lock
    Pressing the O.I.S. Lock button on the LCD monitor maximizes the camera's blur detection sensitivity and correction. This is ideal for applications like bird watching, which call for zooming at a fixed angle. (Considerable blurring occurs when panning or tilting the camera, due to the movement of the corrective lens.)
    Wind Noise Canceller
    This function automatically detects and suppresses only wind noise, to give you natural sounds with lifelike ambience.
    SD Memory Card Recording
    The MDH-1 records on SDXC/SDHC/SD Memory Cards to provide outstanding compatibility with PC applications and rapid data transfer. Compared to the DVC format, this media's image data can be transferred to a computer in about half the time to get jobs done more efficiently.

    I ordered an Epson projector from these people. Due to the high value on it (almost $26,000) they requested that I pay by ACH instead of credit card. I paid them and they received the funds on April 29, 2024. I was told it would be about two weeks before I received the item. After months of excuses, a tracking number that only showed "label created" for weeks and weeks, many emails and phone calls of getting the runaround I FINALLY received a package from them on July 31, 2024. The package was very beat up. The projector they sent me had obviously been opened and returned before and it wasn't even the correct model number!! I insisted that they take it back and give me a FULL REFUND. They did take it back but I'm still trying to get my money back. They don't respond to emails and on the rare occasion that I can get someone on the phone I'm told to just use email and it will get handled. I feel like I'm being scammed out of my money. I wouldn't recommend anyone to do business with these people. I've been treated absolutely AWFUL from the get go. My next stop to complain is the BBB. I also plan to leave reviews like this one all over the web...anyplace I can find. Update 11/14/2024 - I'm writing in response to the "Owner's Response" that took two months to show up here. I have made it perfectly clear on several occasions beginning back on August 8th this year that I want a REFUND rather than a replacement. I stated that in THIS review above and yet I am still waiting. I would also point out that the UPS tracking number given in the owner's response was for a replacement they insisted on sending even though I emailed IMMEDIATELY after I received an email notifying me of the pending shipment. I informed them that I would REJECT the shipment on arrival and they should NOT send. The owner's response neglects to mention the first tracking number that I was given back June 6th that indicated "LABEL CREATED" for WEEKS which tells me it was a ploy to placate me as no package was delivered until July 30th. That package was in horrible condition, was the wrong model number and had obviously been previously returned to them. I going to put it in writing here ONE MORE TIME. I WANT A FULL REFUND, NOT A REPLACEMENT, A FULL REFUND. Otherwise I will see you in court. Additionally I have been advised to report this case to the Federal Trade Commission for online fraud at www.reportfraud.ftc.gov and the FBI's Internet Crime Site at www.ic3.gov Unless A FULL REFUND is processed within the next few days I will follow up on that advice. Update May 16th, 2025 - To date this issue has still not been resolved. These guys completely ignored demand letters sent by my attorney. They did make an offer prior to that that I found to be unacceptable because, rather than a refund, they offered only a partial refund and wanted me to wait several months to get it. If I had accepted their "partial refund" they would have still made money on a deal that they bungled from the very beginning. And I want to clarify that they were HORRIBLE at "keeping me informed via phone calls and emails" like they claim. Attempts to contact them were always difficult and the responses I did get were totally unacceptable. Apparently their idea of "customer service" is to duck and dodge all responsibility and then completely ignore me except for the lame response made to my review. I'm still out $25,801.36 from these scam artists. I wouldn't advise my worst enemy to buy anything from them.

    First time going to the shop. i have a Z50 and was looking for an additional prime lens. It's a small warehouse but they have many items in the store. The one thing that I loved about this camera store is the personal knowledgeable service. Great deals as well. Ended up purchasing a 35mm f/1.8 Nikkor.

    What didn’t go wrong? I ordered a Panasonic 7,000 lumen projector from this vendor, paying an extra $144 for 2-day shipping. Chose them after exhaustive internet searching for the lowest price I could find (big mistake!). Two days later, I emailed and then called to let them know I did not receive my package and that the tracking number suggested that it had not yet been received by FedEx. The customer service person appeared helpful and offered to ship out a 5,000 lumen projector that we could use until they had my original order ready to ship. Of course they charged me the price for the 7K lumen projector when they shipped the smaller model. Long story short, after several months (July 2024 to December 2024) and many calls and promises to ship the product I ordered, I finally had enough and let them know I would be retuning the item they sent me and purchasing the projector I intended to buy from a more reputable company. It was no longer reasonable to expect my patience. They sent me a return label and appeared understanding. After shipping back their product and waiting two weeks, I called to inquire about the status of my refund (over $3,300). The customer service person stated that it would take up to two additional weeks to process. I have been waiting over two months for my money back and have formally filed a complaint with the State of New York against this business. I fear I will have to escalate legally if the state can’t help me successfully get my money back. Please beware! Use this company at your own risk, the “savings” they promise will not be worth it!

    Top-Tier. My new favorite shop for all things digital! They were available ASAP for me the night before a shoot and after a quick call, was able to connect with them and grab the perfect lens while other shops where closed. Highly recommend for all creatives and professionals.

    I purchased a DJI drone that said “NEW” on the add and was priced for $899. I payed an additional $24 for expedited FedEx shipping. 3 weeks later I recieved the package (by UPS ground not FedEx) to find not only was it a USED item (not in original packaging) but it was also a completely different item than what I purchased. I called customer service as soon as I made the discovery. I was told that they made a mistake and sent the wrong item. Ok…shit happens right. Then I was told they made a mistake on the price of the original item I purchased and that it would cost me $1100 to get the item I wanted and would take an additional 3-4 weeks to receive. I was also told the item I would get would be a USED item not the NEW item I had purchased. They did offer to discount the drone I received if I was willing to keep it instead of the one I wanted and ordered…um NO! (I have photo and written proof of all of this) I ended up returning the item and canceling my purchase. I decided to spend my $1100 with a reliable company for a NEW item that will be what I wanted and ordered. I will say the man on the phone was nice but everything he said had SCAM written all over. I pray I get my money back in a timely manner. If not it’s definitely going to be a report to the BBB! If you don’t want to wait weeks for what you hope to be the item you ordered then I would suggest you avoid this company. Not a pleasurable experience.
