TheBenQ W1080ST Full HD 1080p Multi-Region 3D DLP Home Entertainment Projectordelivers 2000 ANSI lumens of brightness with a low noise level of only 30 dBA in Eco-Mode. It features a sharp 10,000:1 contrast ratio, support for a variety of 3D formats and Full HD 1920 x 1080p native resolution. The projector is powered by a DLP chip system and the lamp features a long life up to 6000 hours. The W1080ST is equipped with SmartEco Technology as well, which combines optimum levels of brightness and picture quality for maximum energy savings and a lower overall cost of ownership.

The W1080ST supports a variety of 3D formats and it offers several input options including dual HDMI, component video, composite video and more. It offers a short throw ability that can project up to a 65" screen size at only 1m away. Plus, there's a No Source Detected Mode, which automatically lowers the projector lamp brightness to 30% after it has remained unconnected for three minutes. Other features include a built-in 10W mono speaker and low 0.5W standby power consumption level. The W1080ST supports ecoFACTS environmentally friendly packaging as well.

Short Throw Distance

Supports Various 3D Formats
The W1080ST supports multiple forms of 3D including HDMI, Blu-Ray, 3D broadcasting, video games and NVIDIA 3DTV PC connectivity - all in Full HD 1080p. Plus, 3D field-sequential, 3D frame packing, 3D top-and-bottom and 3D side-by-side are also supported. You'll appreciate uninterrupted viewing with no crosstalk thanks to DLP technology and 3D glasses (sold separately) designed for comfort and peak image quality.
Built-in 10W Speaker Power
The 10W mono built-in speaker is plug-and-play ready, only the power cord and video source connection are needed to prepare the viewing experience.

SmartEco Technology is an innovative and environmentally friendly solution that enhances the energy saving capabilities of your projector's DLP system. It strikes an optimized balance between picture quality, brightness and energy efficiency. This allows you to get the most out of the projector, while also extending lamp life, minimizing maintenance and reducing the projector's total cost of ownership.
Eco Blank Mode
Eco Blank Mode allows you to blank the projection screen when the projector is not in use. When activated, this useful feature will dim the lamp power automatically, which can reduce the projector's overall power consumption by as much as 70%.
Smart Eco Mode
Designed to minimize power consumption and maximize energy efficiency, Smart Eco Mode cleverly adjusts the projector's lamp power by delivering optimum contrast and brightness levels that use only as much light as needed. When using SmartEco Mode, the projector may use as much as 45% less power than it uses in Normal Mode.
No Source Detected Mode
There will be times when the projector is turned on without a DVD player, computer or other display source connected. In order to reduce the amount of power wasted in these instances, BenQ created the No Source Detected Mode. It works by lowering the lamp brightness down to 30% after the projector has remained unconnected to a display source for more than three minutes.
ecoFACTS Label
ecoFACTS declares that the W1080ST supports the effort to replace hazardous substances by improving material selection, packaging design, energy-saving design and other aspects of the product. The W1080ST includes arsenic-free optical glass, BFR/PVC-free casing plastics and PVC-free plastic packaging.
Choose from 28 OSD Languages
The projector supports 28 on-screen display languages. These include: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Swedish, Dutch, Turkish, Czech, Portuguese, Thai, Polish, Hungarian, Croatian, Romanian, Norwegian, Danish, Bulgarian, Finnish, Indonesian, Greek, Hindi and Arabic.

I ordered an Epson projector from these people. Due to the high value on it (almost $26,000) they requested that I pay by ACH instead of credit card. I paid them and they received the funds on April 29, 2024. I was told it would be about two weeks before I received the item. After months of excuses, a tracking number that only showed "label created" for weeks and weeks, many emails and phone calls of getting the runaround I FINALLY received a package from them on July 31, 2024. The package was very beat up. The projector they sent me had obviously been opened and returned before and it wasn't even the correct model number!! I insisted that they take it back and give me a FULL REFUND. They did take it back but I'm still trying to get my money back. They don't respond to emails and on the rare occasion that I can get someone on the phone I'm told to just use email and it will get handled. I feel like I'm being scammed out of my money. I wouldn't recommend anyone to do business with these people. I've been treated absolutely AWFUL from the get go. My next stop to complain is the BBB. I also plan to leave reviews like this one all over the web...anyplace I can find. Update 11/14/2024 - I'm writing in response to the "Owner's Response" that took two months to show up here. I have made it perfectly clear on several occasions beginning back on August 8th this year that I want a REFUND rather than a replacement. I stated that in THIS review above and yet I am still waiting. I would also point out that the UPS tracking number given in the owner's response was for a replacement they insisted on sending even though I emailed IMMEDIATELY after I received an email notifying me of the pending shipment. I informed them that I would REJECT the shipment on arrival and they should NOT send. The owner's response neglects to mention the first tracking number that I was given back June 6th that indicated "LABEL CREATED" for WEEKS which tells me it was a ploy to placate me as no package was delivered until July 30th. That package was in horrible condition, was the wrong model number and had obviously been previously returned to them. I going to put it in writing here ONE MORE TIME. I WANT A FULL REFUND, NOT A REPLACEMENT, A FULL REFUND. Otherwise I will see you in court. Additionally I have been advised to report this case to the Federal Trade Commission for online fraud at www.reportfraud.ftc.gov and the FBI's Internet Crime Site at www.ic3.gov Unless A FULL REFUND is processed within the next few days I will follow up on that advice. Update May 16th, 2025 - To date this issue has still not been resolved. These guys completely ignored demand letters sent by my attorney. They did make an offer prior to that that I found to be unacceptable because, rather than a refund, they offered only a partial refund and wanted me to wait several months to get it. If I had accepted their "partial refund" they would have still made money on a deal that they bungled from the very beginning. And I want to clarify that they were HORRIBLE at "keeping me informed via phone calls and emails" like they claim. Attempts to contact them were always difficult and the responses I did get were totally unacceptable. Apparently their idea of "customer service" is to duck and dodge all responsibility and then completely ignore me except for the lame response made to my review. I'm still out $25,801.36 from these scam artists. I wouldn't advise my worst enemy to buy anything from them.

First time going to the shop. i have a Z50 and was looking for an additional prime lens. It's a small warehouse but they have many items in the store. The one thing that I loved about this camera store is the personal knowledgeable service. Great deals as well. Ended up purchasing a 35mm f/1.8 Nikkor.

What didn’t go wrong? I ordered a Panasonic 7,000 lumen projector from this vendor, paying an extra $144 for 2-day shipping. Chose them after exhaustive internet searching for the lowest price I could find (big mistake!). Two days later, I emailed and then called to let them know I did not receive my package and that the tracking number suggested that it had not yet been received by FedEx. The customer service person appeared helpful and offered to ship out a 5,000 lumen projector that we could use until they had my original order ready to ship. Of course they charged me the price for the 7K lumen projector when they shipped the smaller model. Long story short, after several months (July 2024 to December 2024) and many calls and promises to ship the product I ordered, I finally had enough and let them know I would be retuning the item they sent me and purchasing the projector I intended to buy from a more reputable company. It was no longer reasonable to expect my patience. They sent me a return label and appeared understanding. After shipping back their product and waiting two weeks, I called to inquire about the status of my refund (over $3,300). The customer service person stated that it would take up to two additional weeks to process. I have been waiting over two months for my money back and have formally filed a complaint with the State of New York against this business. I fear I will have to escalate legally if the state can’t help me successfully get my money back. Please beware! Use this company at your own risk, the “savings” they promise will not be worth it!

Top-Tier. My new favorite shop for all things digital! They were available ASAP for me the night before a shoot and after a quick call, was able to connect with them and grab the perfect lens while other shops where closed. Highly recommend for all creatives and professionals.

I purchased a DJI drone that said “NEW” on the add and was priced for $899. I payed an additional $24 for expedited FedEx shipping. 3 weeks later I recieved the package (by UPS ground not FedEx) to find not only was it a USED item (not in original packaging) but it was also a completely different item than what I purchased. I called customer service as soon as I made the discovery. I was told that they made a mistake and sent the wrong item. Ok…shit happens right. Then I was told they made a mistake on the price of the original item I purchased and that it would cost me $1100 to get the item I wanted and would take an additional 3-4 weeks to receive. I was also told the item I would get would be a USED item not the NEW item I had purchased. They did offer to discount the drone I received if I was willing to keep it instead of the one I wanted and ordered…um NO! (I have photo and written proof of all of this) I ended up returning the item and canceling my purchase. I decided to spend my $1100 with a reliable company for a NEW item that will be what I wanted and ordered. I will say the man on the phone was nice but everything he said had SCAM written all over. I pray I get my money back in a timely manner. If not it’s definitely going to be a report to the BBB! If you don’t want to wait weeks for what you hope to be the item you ordered then I would suggest you avoid this company. Not a pleasurable experience.
